Our commitment at 花魁直播to having practices and policies in place that help drive a sustainable digital future has earned us Verizon’s 2022 Supplier Environmental Excellence Award, which recognizes Ciena’s support in their sustainability efforts.

“This award is being given in recognition of Ciena’s partnership with Verizon in support of our sustainability efforts. 花魁直播has a long history of working with Verizon to meet our business requirements as well as showing the same commitment towards generating and purchasing renewable energy,” said James J. Gowen, Verizon’s Chief Sustainability Officer and SVP of Global Supply Chain.

Over the years, Ciena’s mission has been to find innovative ways to reduce the impact our products have on the environment. With solutions like Ciena’s WaveLogic coherent technology, we have been able to reduce the power per bit of network traffic, avoiding more than 3 million metric tons of carbon dioxide from being emitted into the atmosphere.

Verizon and Ciena’s history of working together goes back over 20 years, supplying innovative products and solutions to create the fastest, most reliable network possible. In 2020, 花魁直播expanded this collaboration by working with Verizon’s Innovative Learning initiative to bridge the gap of the digital divide and drive digital inclusion at schools across the United States.

花魁直播provided devices and support software to students at Hubbard Media Arts Academy in San Jose, California, and Baltimore Design School in Baltimore, Maryland, allowing for virtual learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and empowering teachers and students to leverage technology in the classrooms. This partnership shows the value and continued efforts that Verizon and 花魁直播share in creating an inclusive, sustainable world for all.
